My Master hearing is tomorrow morning. It will be online, so that's good. I hope my case gets closed.

I got laid off and this week is my last at my current company. I am not thrilled to search for a job in this job market at the end of the year.

I am hoping to get some good news this week.

Hello, I am filing out my applications I-130/I-485 with I-864 to send by early next week. What's the current wait time? I have had DACA since 2012 and I traveled with AP three times, clearing my EWI. I did work prior to DACA and had a ticket for driving without a DL back in 2007. Have any of you had similar cases? How was your process? Did you hire a lawyer or did you do it by yourself? The apps look pretty straightforward so I'm leaning to just do it myself.

Hired an attorney. Entered originally on a visa 30+ years ago.
Filed last Dec. I130 approved in May. Still waiting for the I485 approval

I got an RFE to submit my medical exam as I near the 2 year mark since I submitted my I-485.
Hope to get good news in a couple of months!

2 years already? Wow, that's quite a bit of waiting.

Even with a white house inquiry, they did not want to process my application sooner.
I was planning on submitting another request but I got this RFE so there is no point anymore.

Its been an intense journey, I was finally able to adjust my status via marriage. The process was not a bad experience for me, I applied Dec. 2024 and received my GC 7/15/2025. Dont give up, times are hard. Even with my GC i dont feel 100% safe, given how bad the atmosphere is right now. To all the ones applying to adjust, be patient and everyone stay safe.
