I'm 17 years old, a Junior in High School (Pennsylvania). I came to the United States from a country in Europe when I was 2 years old. I came here on an F2 visa, one of my parents got a visa for work/education in the US and I came a year-or-so later with my other parent. I have an expired visa, currently out of status. From my knowledge, I have no criminal record (never had any criminal encounter with police) and I have never left the United States.

I printed the forms on the USCIS website for DACA, and filled them all out, but I'm confused with one question:

>>>I-765WS
One question is asking me for my financial information. I am 17 and still in High School, so I am unsure how to fill this out. I wrote $0 for income, my annual expense as a rounded average expense for a 15-18yr old child for parents (via wikipedia), and my assets as what's in my bank account ($1500).

The I-765WS page writes "complete this worksheet to establish your economic need for employment pursuant".
Since I am only 17, how do I prove my economic necessity for employment? It's a very silly question; basically asking me why I need a job.. I have no clue how to answer this question.

I have a question please! I filled all my applications, this is the first time I will be sending anything to USCIS because I entered the country without inspection, sent all my proof, lacking some proof that I entered before 15, i sent some of my parents utility bills plus affidavit, and some membership letters from church. Anyways iwill be doing my biometrics next week but I have a question, I never applied for work permit before however in my Work Authorization Form I forgot to check the field that says I'm applying for .... I did not check any of the three boxes, I am so stupid. So I am worried about what could possibly happen. Remeber that I already have my biometrics appoinment but Im soworried that they will denied my application because i didnt check any of them.... What should I do????? Does anybody can tell me or give me advise???? Thanks

just say you want to start working. no paragraph just 2 or 3 sentences not a paper here. just make sure it's filled with something. all that matters is you meet the daca requirements. no one still knows the purpose of the worksheet but we do know that they won't refuse you a work permit because of the worksheet. we also know you have to include it.

next time double check your work and have 2 more people check it for you. but, before they send you your biometrics they make sure that the form is filled out on all the right spots. if they are not satisfied with the way you filled it out, they will send it back to you before they give you a bio appointment.

now the only thing you need to worry about is that you have enough evidence.

Hola!

I just send in my application yesterday. The lady that does my taxes helped me fill mine out. She helps with filling out any legal document. I've been very nervous but very excited at the same time. Can't wait to get my response!!!!!!
