I don't know about anyone else here but I'm tired of watching people get their papers/move on with their lives, while mine stays in limbo. I'm happy for everyone that has found a way out of this situation, but I need MY day as well, it's a battle for OUR generation, NOT the next generation of Dreamers.

If Romney does get elected, i'm sure DREAMers all over the country will start giving up hope.
GOP cannot win the elections without some kind of an Immigration bill passage. They are desperate right now. Obama has no competition and he is easily going to win plus Democrats will take back the House and add more seats in the senate. Why do you think ARMS was introduced? It is similar to the Dream Act. It failed in the lame duck session because the bill was rushed and they took out lot of the stuff from the original bill.

Well, assuming that he does not flip-flop on the ARMS Act if elected president, not necessarily.
Not a chance. It means a bi partisan compromise for the Dream Act. It will have Border Security and E-Verify.

I have no intentions of obliterating your hopes, but do you even have a clue of who DA_user is?
This fella lives in a world of sunshine and rainbows. Everyday he smokes pot with his best friend Barney the purple dinosaur and makes sweet love to Tinky Winky, the telettubie.

Haha, i suspected this. Everywhere i looked, DA_User always seemed to be believe things 100% despite previous events or that there are many odds.

DA User is pretty whacked

Every month he says passing the DA is right around the corner.

For those of us in reality, I say tell the liberals to drop their opposition, accept the Arms act for now, and throw in maybe Peace Corps or STEM graduates or some other nonviolent service. Thats a good deal that can work

You do know that there had been talks about E-Verify and an attachment of DA last year right? GOP will want to pass DA with a Border Security.

How can you be so sure? Post us a source.

What if we add Border patrol into the mix. Enlist and award conditional residency depending on how many illegal aliens you deport.

Here is the outline:

50 illegal aliens = conditional residency

100 illegal aliens = permanent residency

Cartel members and smugglers count as double.

Maybe the rednecks will not oppose this.

I am only joking by the way, do not come hating on me after reading this haha
