Very True! Once you clear the EWI, you can have employers sponsor you. So who gives a fawk if we don't get a permanent solution with Rubio's bill, at least we get to be legal!! That's all we need. We can find other ways of becoming permanent residents or citizens!!

My brother was valedictorian of his highschool and is currently attending a 4 year school for free- > 34,000 a year. He has a 4.0 there too.

If you really want it, you will fight for it and achieve!
May I ask what University you go to? I'm almost done with my CC and if I stay in Michigan, I need about $25000 a year. I'm looking for cheaper alternatives in other states. $16000 seen more reasonable. If you don't feel like saying it here, pm me

Have to agree with smooth here. It's all speculation at this point, but what's to stop Rubio from trying?

After we get legalized through Rubio's bill, we can apply for Permanent Residents through existing channels such as marriage, sponsorship from companies. Everybody knows it takes long but that's how we need to EARN our status. We cannot use existing channels becasue we are illegal.

My question is, if Rubio's bill provides us with non-immigrant visa such as F1, do we have to pay out-of-state tuition from California, Texas where the states provide in state tuition for undocumented?

The bill sounds good to me. When do you think it will be released?

His bill allows you to work, drive and go to college. What else can you ask for?

Whatever dude. This is a partisan issue for you. This is not about relief.

Oh, and if you can take advantage of existing means, then wtf are you doing here? You have no say in this shit because you practically already have a chance at relief.

Stop scarring others. Your rhetoric on Rubio's ideas does not coincide at all with what he has declared.

Ur right. I could do the same. But I hope you realize that whatever kind of degree you got. You will not be able to use until you become a resident. And from what Rubio said. Thats not happening even if the DREAM Act passes. You should have used that money to go on vacation or you should have saved it.

His DREAM Act will only allow us to get an education at our expense. AND THAT IS ALL! No residency and most definately no citizenship.

Besides. How much do YOU think it will cost me to go to college and become a Doctor? His DREAM Act is full of it!!! You just don't realize it.... Yet.
Well, I graduated and can go wherever the hell I can find a job. I was lucky enough for someone to hire me as a mechanical engineer. I understand your point.... but you just make it sound so impossible!!! Get over it!!! and work for it!!!
