Such a shame. I hope the GOP get their crap together.
Nah, this was happening pre-tea party, way into bush's term. I'm pretty sure it gathered momentum post-911. Not that rich old white money has helped any.

Thank god I live in a blue state like NY and I dont have to worry about these things.
But for those who live in the midwest, move away!
What do you mean "those who live in the midwest"? I live in Illinois, and we have a Democratic governor. Illegals get in-state tuition and stuff like that, so should I move out of here, too?

I thought the majority of Dreamers are from California and Texas? Both states have big cities with good transportation. With the work permit, it would make sense to move where you have good public transportation.

B.S. That's all I'll say.

Haha my friend (a U.S. citizen) recently asked me for help to figure out how to take public transportation to her new job in Los Angeles because she was sick of gas prices and traffic. She lives about 40 miles from where she works, and it took her 3 hours to get there. So while I support the idea of building a better transit system and I plan on taking it even when I have a license, I do think a license is almost a necessity in California if you are a student or have a job.
