I sincerely hope that's the case.

It depends on who the relative is and what CIR changes, but in most cases I'm talking about a Naturalized Dreamer.13-15 years is a long time and one of the key things to look for in the bill is the Age cap and IF the triggers affect Dreamers. In prior variations of CIR it didn't which is why I'm waiting to see the actual legislation written.

You follow this immigration rules and laws closely. Let me just ask you a straight forward question. Do you think there will be immediate conditional permanent residency for Dreamers? After all this is what Dream Act is all about and it has been on the front page whenever Immigration is being discussed.

To process almost 500,000 application thet taking for ever, just think howmuch time will they tae to process 11 million people for reform. Total BS. They will take alomost 2 to 3 years to just process the request. I still hope the reform happens this year.

Okay, some inside info now: In WA state, any woman, I mean any woman who is pregnant and meets poverty guidelines or cannot prove income, automatically gets DSHS Medicaid. We have a large patient base whose insurance coverage is taxpayer funded, and yes, they are undocumented, do not speak English, including the ones who've lived here 10+ years, who've never worked, the very young ones who qualified for DACA, whom also do not work, etc.

So, no taxpayer contributions, but lots of taxpayer benefits, we get it.

What happens to the large portion of undocumented workers who've already contributed years of taxes like myself? This is a setup for this crap to fail. Everyone will have something against it. Then, surprise! The Pre's plan will be voted, maybe pass, more likely not, and we will be told to vote Democratic in 2014?

So, now, you'll be 50+ before you can become a citizen - and God forbid you fall ill or have an accident in the meantime that prevents you from working. Or in my case, I decide to get pregnant and want to spend time at home raising my child.

This is a goodie bag for the surveillance and "security" industry who lost their taxpayer-funded piggy bank in Iraq and Afghanistan. The need $$$ to fund Repubican campaigns.

It depends on what a conference committee thinks is a "Dreamer".It waaay too early to base any conclusions on this initial bill.

The immigration bill will change as it goes through the process....if it does.
