That should only be a "the shit has hit the fan" absolute last resort.

DA is more risky because it's directly under ICE. Uscis have said they won't share information with ICE so even if DACA ends we should be good. But DA? Already ice is targeting even people with DACA. Don't be surprise if they go after DAers if it ends

I read from the article that she was expelled twice, once in 1999 and another in 2003, therefore she had an executed deportation; effectively barring her from the US for a # of years(?). Her DACA was theoretically in error because she had committed a felony and shouldn't have received it.

That was the main reason why she had issues reentering.

Please correct me if I'm wrong. I plan on traveling on AP and have consulted my attorney. They said it was safe for me to travel even though I have a removal order. But because it was never executed, I'll be fine when I reenter.

Being deported and then coming back twice is a felony ?

Maybe not a felony, that part I'm uncertain. But the main point being that she wasn't able to enter because she had previously been physically deported and reentered the country again illegally.

A lot of people here have been deported more than once and they all got DACA. The problem was that she thought by getting DACA it somehow made her removal order obsolete. Sadly she was wrong. She did not commit a felony otherwise she would have been arrested and sent to prison. Instead she was deny entry and deported

I think this is where AP gets a little bit tricky. It seems to emphasize that if you previously had an executed deportation, then re-entry would be difficult under DACA and AP. But for those who had deportation order but never executed, it seems DACA and AP would work.

I'm trying to clear this up myself as well. My attorney assured me that my case is okay to travel with DACA and AP even though I had a previous removal order, though never executed.

Did you read what the AP paper says?? Or the instructions on AP i131?? It should clear up your question.
