Regardless, he showed his true colors. I find it ridiculous to end a program that is mutually beneficial without replacing it with something similar or better.. Luckily, I'll renew around November so that's some relief. However, if a republican does win the general, and DACA is terminated, I'll begin my applications to migrate to another country. There's absolutely no way I'll go back to the "shadows".

Fortunately, I acquire my MBA this May! Even better, my current employer is happy to have me work remotely from anywhere with an Internet connection regardless of the time zones. I can even open/run my own branch office. So yeah... I'll go ahead and take my job with me and pay taxes to a country that apparently more deserving of my labor... They can keep their mooches.

Take it from me. Rubio would not end DACA through his whole administration let alone Day 1. Like it or not, I am right and you sir are a victim of fear mongering, that a lot of clowns on this forum like to do.

Worst case scenario: DACA is canceled, we go back into the "shadows". So freaking what? I know I'll be fine.

While you may call it fear, I see it as risk. Not certain, not even problable, yet still risk. What I am doing is assessing the situation and weighing my options as a way to diversify my overall risk. I see it as no different than what I already do with my portfolio. Unlike you sir, I'd like to evaluate the possibilities of every possible outcome. I don't pay all the extra insurance coverage on my car, home, possessions, and personal health, because I think something bad is certain to happen. It's the complete opposite, I'm positive that 99.99% of the time it will not. Yet, there's still the possibility that it will, and that's when I'll be thankful that I diversified my risk.

And that pressure is going to magically evaporate upon inauguration of his hypothetical first term because....?

I know I said it before, but your SN being "got daca" is pretty much the textbook example of irony.

You keep bringing that up. What is your problem with having DACA? Don't you have it too?
