Our learnered peers here have turned into adult children of alcoholics; so long as he does not rescind DACA - i.e. my 'privilege' - they are willing to ignore, discount, rationalize or even deny every legal/legislative obscenity produced by daddy Trump and his administration that is specifically designed to screw over their community and family.
Witness: House Bill HR 3003 being considered now, which aside from the whole cutting of federal funds to sanctuary cities business, would allow states and localities to exercise indefinite detention, without charge; establish statutory probably cause for local and federal agents (i.e. pick you up from the street - just cuz') and grant legal immunity to said states for impinging on individuals constitutional right.
I get it. You want live. I can understand that - but I could never respect it; in fact, I think it transparently pathetic and contemptible.
