It doesn't make sense, if we get to the keep the deferred action, then permit is not renewable. If that is the case, without new permit, people are still losing jobs. what is the point?

One thing is for sure. They are definitely going to close the door on NEW APPLICANTS. As far as we are concerned the current DACA recipients, we have been and continue to be and will be 100% safe. In fact I will argue that we are going to be even safer after Trump makes the call next week. And my hope is that Congress will be forced to act towards passing legislation to permanently fixing the problem.

White House sources say the president is moving toward ending new work permits under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, or DACA, without changing the status of the roughly 800,000 already enrolled in the program.

We are safe.
