They only held super majority long enough to get health care done. Senator Kennedy died in the mist of that and they had to ram ObamaCare through without proper debate and reconciliation. If I remember correctly they did pass the senate dream act but by that time republican took the house and they blocked it.

A compromise that's in more in favor for what republicans wants in exchange for something like Bridge Act?
