Until a vote goes down and a compromise (whatever that may be) is voted down, I am optimistic that any compromise has a higher chance of passing than a darn clean bill.

Different times. Back then, DACA was not in existence.

yeah, operative word is “lived” we will live through this one too.

2017 is so different from 2010. our lives didnt really change when the dream act of 2010 failed.

regardless of what happens pass or fail after this year, we are all equipped mentally, financially, education, and work exp. we gained the last 5 years.

wherever DREAMERS go in the world, they will be succesful.

and yes i still stand by my original call, there will be relief by December (i just dont know which bill), no one is going back to the shadows.

As a strategy, pushing for a Clean bill is a way of not giving up too much too early before a potential vote. If you come out now with that, then they'll start asking for way more.

Giving Trump a wall for some half assed version of DA.

I'd accept the wall for full DA (Durbin-Graham version), but not some RACA or succeed nonsense. If that's what he's pushing he's getting a government shutdown. Hell, republicans gained seat after that bullshit, what do democrats stand to lose now? Tilt is fucking D+10, public is tired of daily scandals coming from the white house, yada yada yada, it's all white noise at this point. Fuck it, burn it all down. Only reason to look sideways at the 2018 midterm is the unfavorable senate map.
