i really dont think we are fighting but we are engaging on a healthy discourse.

but when someone says "fuck you" or "you're a racist" because they disagree with your POV, thats how it really starts.

lol

Nail on the head, I would want nothing more than as much people as possible to be included. The reality of how things are looking now it's extremely unlikely anyone outside the current DACA pool would be included...

Agreed. This administration is extremely strict when it comes to immigration, so, I doubt they will expand the pool for a relief. They're even starting to reject more DACA apps and terminate those that had convictions who were accepted before. It's a way different field and if you aren't in the program right now, the future is unfortunately grim.

Yes. But the problem is when we call for this people misconstrue and think that we are against them and we are "selfish." The reality is that for EVERYONE to be legalized, DACA recipients have to be legalized first as a stepping stone forward! Nobody here is selfish. The fact is that Trump administration WILL NOT sign any bill that includes mass legalization for everyone. It is in everyones interest right now for us to push for DACA legalization immediately.

It is very selfish and cruel to say "Legalization for ALL or else no legalization at all!" like some of these idiotic organizations like UWD are demanding. DACA recipients deserve immediate legalization because we've put in the hard work and proven ourselves!

The worst is when those who were DACA recipients who adjusted and got Green Cards are now against this compromise bill because they want mass legalization so their families can become legalized. We have plenty of those people on here. You already know who I am talking about.

You are a repeat offender of this. I even called you out on it earlier last week, questioning if you had a time machine to verift your assumptions and you even made a post thanking protestors for the passage of the DA even though it still hasn't passed yet.

Which ass did they pull 3.6 million out of.

When DACA was put into effect the expected amount was 1.5 million, after 5 years we only had 800k, so roughly half of the estimate.
