Without pressure to hold the Democratic Party accountable, I believe they will agree to a short term funding fix w/o DACA, thus delaying progress for a few more weeks.

This is it. They have to attach Dream Act to the budget bill, stop the deportations of those who qualify, and start a responsible plan towsrd immigration reform.

There is no Daca to extend - the program was terminated. Moreover, passing DreamAct helps me, us, one of my patients who missed it by two years, but who has been here longer than most Daca beneficiaries, all childhood arrivals keeping them together with their American-born children, and lastly TPS recipients who will lose protection.

There is no alternative. It has to be Durbin-Graham's Dream Act.
