?!?!?!?!???!

This is assuming that the entire nation hates us, but the reality is different. We are well liked, and its a few who hate us.

Come Dec 8th, we will have our fair chance at making America great again.
Amerikkka symbolizes white supremacy.

Trump and his supporters vision of this country is not the one I know.

If you watch enough CNN you'd realize she is pretty hard on POTUS...... the question she asked is actually one I think DEMS are going to have to really wrestle with. Whether she asked it or not this is the reality of the ultimatum they are giving. It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out because I can already see the GOP adds about this leading up to the mid-term elections. Hopefully they have a concrete plan to maneuver these issues to force the vote on DA.

GOP has to deal with the same question. DREAM Act has bipartisan support and majority of Americans support it. Is the GOP willing to not fund government over an issue that is widely supported? Dems can run advertisements that a vote for spending bill without DREAM Act is a vote for deportation of DREAMers.

Exactly. They're asking to fund deportation agencies and judges, etc without addressing our issue which basically would mean funding deportation against us.

Congress has a little more than a month to finish 2017 business
There is a lot on their plate, from government funding to a spy program

Spending bill

This is the biggie. The government runs out of money on December 8 and already members are talking about a potential short-term extension to keep the government running while lawmakers negotiate a bigger spending deal before lawmakers depart for the holiday.

That still doesn't leave lawmakers with much time to settle on a plan and avoid a Christmas shutdown in Washington. Republicans and Democrats are still working through the government spending caps for military and non-military funding, and some Democrats are also pushing to including protections in the bill for individuals who entered the US illegally as children, who previously benefited from the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
Expect it to make for a very messy few weeks in Washington as leaders on both the Republican and Democratic sides of the aisle struggle to find a way to cut a deal that also satisfies their rank-and-file members.

Very unlikely.

A strategist working with Republicans on immigration said if the party fails to pass a DACA fix, its members risk facing political ads pointing out that they supported spending bills that included money to fund immigration enforcement to deport Dreamers.

“Here is how a member described it to me,” said the strategist, “‘There are going to be 300,000 DACA recipients who lose their benefits before the midterm election. I don’t know if there are going to be press stories about 75 in my district or 7,500 in my district. But I’m going to have to respond to every single one of these that I voted for money that could be used to deport these guys.’”

The strategist, who has also spoken with White House officials, added that the administration privately wants a deal to protect the Dreamers along with more border security and is likely to accept any deal that Congress offers. It’s a way for Trump to say he accomplished something former President Barack Obama couldn’t.

“ ‘That’s a win-win for us, although we don’t publicly want to say that,’” the strategist said, quoting from a conversation he had with a White House official.

Interesting read. It says the Dems are engaging in the tax talk, therefore, leaving DACA as secondary. Though it is nice to know the Republicans are acknowledging the backlash they will face if fails on DACA.

THIS IS IT, we have to push.
