If I'm going to play 45d chess, if he were to say they were going to pass something, it would bring a lot of problems, remember how after they reached something with Trump the far right started to cry amnesty and Trump now calls us illegals?

My guess is it's better to keep shit on the low to allow as minor inconvenience as possible with the far right lunatics that could make deals worse than they already are.

Just my 2 cents, I'm a regular guy so I wouldn't really know what the fuck. :3

Yep. Best to keep things on the low.

Recall the backlash when the "deal" was prematurely announced in Sept.

That shit ruined lots of progress.

If the deal was close and if I was Durbin, I would say the exact same stuff.

Exactly. People here are probably not good negotiators or businessman. This is probably the only time Dems will have any leverage for a while, so they need to get the best deal possible for us. Why would we take a status like DACA again with no way of adjusting (or having the ability to travel). We need to become legal, not just get work permit.

A green card that does not include a pathway to citizenship does not exist. If they don't want to give us a pathway to citizenship it will simply be a work permit. (Permanent BRIDGE Act)

Thank you for clarifying that....
I guess what I am trying to say here is, if we don’t get shit Because we “demanded” pathway to citizenship. It will he really difficult not to blame organizations like UWD.
