Isn’t the problem that leadership isn’t allowing a vote on the Dream Act? If that’s the case Dems just have to vote no on the spending bill CR until they allow a DA vote.

Reps decide what's attached and what isn't. GOP is calling the Dems bluff on not voting for a spending bill if it doesn't include a DACA fix. GOP is going to give Dems CHIP funding, disaster relief and Obamacare payments.

Right. Let Republicans own the decision to shut the gvnmt. Also, most fed workers are union, mostly Democratic, and hundreds of thousands are DUAL fed employee households. The Republicans will be eaten alive.

You quoting some random person on twitter doesn't prove that Americans are okay with a shutdown in order for Dreamer relief. Dems will decide if we're important enough and so far, it's not looking good for us.

So house CR passes on Wednesday. Goes to the Senate where it will be rejected on Thursday because it lacks the votes. So come Thursday we are nowhere on a CR. #DreamActNow
