Democratic leaders won’t insist their members uniformly vote against the spending bill if it fails to include protections against deportation, according to a Democratic aide.

It looks like they want to roll all of it into one giant package to provide cover for senators. In other words, they’ll hold the line demanding all their demands be met. Chip, csrs, daca etc. Unless daca bill passes before spending bill. Even then, they might need to add it in the house.

Almost every reporter is saying this: I smell the jet fumes, guys. Yes, Congress, they are calling you... go go go! & let me go Christmas shopping...

Theyll probably leave tomorrow and that;s that.

.@JeffFlake says McConnell promised him a January cloture vote on bipartisan #DACA legislation, but that the scope of legislation itself is still being finalized by a bipartisan Senate group. Flake says it could be a combo of Dream/Bridge/Succeed acts + border security. @CQnow

Also on a side note.... I wonder how long it will take the secretary to implement the new bill... -> I think in Flakes bill it states 180 days to implement, I think it took the same for DACA to get implemented before we were able to send in applications (maybe it was 90 days not 100% sure). Problem will be for those who's permits expire lets say Feb - Sept or so as it will take time to process the new applications etc, and knowing all of them they will want all of the same documents we fucking submitted with initial DACA....
