@ChadPergram

This is the group of GOPers who met w/Trump today on DACA: Cotton, Graham, Perdue, Goodlatte, McCarthy & Diaz-Balart

Why do they keep inviting Cotton & Goodlatte?

They are trying to derail any possible deal. The whole GOP is just putting on a show, they have no intention of doing anything.

The fact that the media may have misquoted Flake and proclaimed that deal has been made really clouded future negotiations. Instead of saying that progress was made, the WH was forced to say that no deal was made at all to push back.

Only Diaz and graham support us. It’s a good thing Graham pushed back on what cotton said .

1.) They limited chain migration of DREAMers only. Democrats will not waiver on chain migration on a bigger scale. I'm not sure how much negotiation can be done on this aspect.

2.) Border money was at 1.6B, I believe. This needs to be raised, and it can possibly be negotiated.

3.) Coverage can be negotiated. First, no protection for parents. Next (and much more difficult), who of all DREAMers won't be included?
Finally a sensible post

Something is going to happen. Something doesn't seem right. We'll see.
