Let's remember this wasn't a deal by only DEMs - it was a bipartisan deal that the 'gang of six' agreed on.

you guys shouldn't worry after the news we received about the DACA injuction. its clearly meant to be that this is our home.

ONWARD!
My guess is another CR as Democrats will not gain enough support for a shut down. Whether something passes eventually, it's hard to say. There's just so many moving parts that could lead to derailment.

That DACA injunction is also an unknown. There's no way to know if we'll get to renew.

I'd have faith in mid-terms if the Trump impeachment talks weren't this year; but they are. The government is only going to become more chaotic as the year goes on. After mid-terms (when Dems probably take back the House), impeachment proceedings would start in 2019.

That leaves DREAMers forgotten.

We need need more information on this. I wonder how DHS is going to take it up, and how many people they will bring in to deal with the incoming mountain of renewals of those panicking.

P.S. You're one of my favorite users here.

Jan. 10, 2018: This page is under review. More information is forthcoming. ; )

https://www.uscis.gov/humanitarian/c...enew-your-daca

we'll find out more in the next couple of weeks but im guessing its the guidelines the judge set forth:

- only renewals for current DACA people or who had it
- no advance parole
- no initial apps

Always appreciate your positive attitude.
Thing are more positive than it has been for last few months and I too think we'll all be fine at the end of this.

nah this was the injunction placed on the DACA termination.

the uscis will probably update in a few weeks to take renewals again.
