Well...In 2014 they were going to give me DACA like you young pups. Of course they got greedy and threw DAPA in there too and then your buddy Republicans sued him and put an end to it before it got launched. But yeah, even though a Republican sued Obama and a Republican 5th circuit upheld the Injunction, "they're all the same".

what do you mean buddy Republicans? lmao do you have to turn everything partisan, after all this that's still your driving at? i literally just supported your position that i support Democrats and im forever thankful for them for giving us DACA, not once i have bashed Democrats in my past posts, am i disappointed with them like when a family members disappoints you? yeah sure, like who isnt? but not to say all politicians are not the same is a bit disingenuous from your part.

i dont care who you support or who you plan to vote for 15-20 yrs from now. you spew the same bullshit that #TrumpDreamers spew on here as well, ya'll are all the same with your complaining and blindly following anyone who throws you a bone.

you are so blind, your talking point is if someone disagrees with you, they are Republicans, in this case when i actually agree with you that Democrats are our allies, you still cry out "BuT tHe RePuBliCaNs!"

For any bill to be taken seriously, they need to keep the entry date as of June 2007 (same as DACA).

Why tho? That's bullshit it should be 2012 when daca was implemented since you can argue young people came in due to daca but even then 2014 sounds reasonable so they cover more dreamers to end the problem.

Because DACA was for kids/youth who had already been in the country for a while i.e. 5 years. Most of us here would have been okay even if that requirement was 10 years... that is the true essence to be able to support the argument of "kids who know no home other than the US".

So even though I can tell this thread is about to get seriously derailed, fl_dreamer is right. If Obama had made it the 2012 date, it would have been really hard to convince people that DACA recipients were just as American as citizens. It would have allowed a person who had just crossed the border the day before to apply for DACA.

Yeah but that date of entry is bullshit. Just like the age cap. You can't control the date your parents decide to bring you nor you can stop yourself from aging. So I don't agree with you. Even if I was covered with daca as of right now. I would still argue that it is bullshit. To keep the 2007 entry date.

What do you mean??? We are talking about a solution for daca not daca itself. Yes It would be stupid for daca to have the 2012 date of entry when it was introduced on 2012. But time has gone by and kids kept coming in regardless. They still deserve a chance.

But yeah if you guys think only the 800k daca holders should be legalized I'll not continue to argue since the age cap and the date of entry are bullshit. The only thing that should matters is your age when coming in and a reasonable date when you can argue parents brought children due to daca. Thinking they would get legalized
