How is saying you'll vote Republican for life considered to be thinking critical?

At the end of the day, result is the only thing that matters. At least Republicans have a proven track-record when it comes to being decisive on immigration whereas Democrats can't put their heads together to get anything done, as usual. Look at the outlined 4 pillar proposal by Trump administration, it is more logically sound and feasible for most Americans to accept than any piece of proposed legislation made by the Democrats. Sadly, one only needs to take a good look at each party's base in order to make sense of the direction they're heading. I see many Republican colleagues at work who are some of the most articulate, successful and intelligent people who support Trump based on his stances for dealing with critical issues (e.g. economy, tax, immigration, etc). Unfortunately, based on my limited personal experience, I can't say the same for the Democratic base (most of them are delusional, self-entitled millennials/liberal arts majors that can't be reasoned with).

The GOP are not being decisive about immigration. There's a fight between Freedom Caucus/ Far right about deporting everyone and then there's the moderate GOP who are looking for a solution. And we would have a compromise if McConnell/Ryan start listening to the moderates. I think the 4 pillar proposal is terrible, so I disagree with you there. I've met many Democrats that are articulate, successful, and intelligent. Most of the Trump supporters I know now regret voting for him.

You didn't answer my original question though.

Lol. Where were the Democrats when they had promised to make the immigration their top priority? Don't be so naive to think that DACA was provided to us out of charity. They waited until the midterm election to pass DACA via the executive decision just so they would get their votes.
