we need to be able to vote in order to enact any real change.

we need to compromise on DACA so we can get a path to citizenship and the right to vote, not in 12 years but ASAP. that means no clean idealistic reform

in the meantime how difficult is it to pool our resources and lobby? what does that actually take? you know; to bribe politicians?

can we outbid their current masters? can we prop up someone else more popular with our money and word of mouth?

we need some "dreamers" in politics to organize such things.

Ask most DACA recipients what the bare minimum they would take from the DACA debate and most say at least a work permit with the ability to travel. Travel for family emergencies, education, or business? Nah, we wan't to go take selfies at some tourist destination somewhere.

It's human nature, and like I said I've done and thought the same, but it's still a shitty feeling when you realize that you never put up a fight.
A lot of people want to travel so we can clear our EWI.

Your feeling of superiority is shameful. You are no better than how the anti-migrants are toward undocumented immigrants in general. Yet you are saying you are better than other immigrants. You deserve nothing. Put a foot down to back to earth, would you? had you not been in this situation, you would probably be in other side of the issue. And you should think before you speak.

why would you bump a thread just to say all this?
where did i flat out say i was superior to other immigrants?
stop misinterpreting what i said just because you want to feel personally offended by my opinion.

Another one of those "it's either all or nothing" attitude.

I was meaning to reply sooner but I got a little busy. You dismiss the intent of the post by putting the blame on me for bringing it up. I merely said what you yourself acknowledged when I call you selfish and absorbed you didn't say anything, so you were ok with that.

Update/edit -
Very clever, you deleted (or a mod) the post in which I set focus on before even the quotes above. A clue to it when you said "am I wrong" in regards to that post and now have the audacity of spearing innocent and not have said anything

Not at all Lempira, but you should be able to question someone attitude toward other immigrants, doesn't meant you'd get all or nothing at all.
