Back from Camp David, via pool:

"lt's going to be a steel border and that's going to give us
great strength."

He didn't directly answer a question about whether he'd
talked to Schumer or Pelosi today: "We've been in touch
with a lot of people and i informed my folks to say that
we'll build a steel barrier steel that it will be made out of
steel, that it will be less obtrusive and stronger."

On DACA: "| would consider DACA but | think it'd be
complicated. |'d rather have the Supreme Court rule and
then work with the Democrats on DACA. | want to help
with DACA... Rather than doing something with DACA now
|'d rather work with Democrats. Let the Supreme Court
rule first."

"We have a crisis at the border of drugs of human beings
being trafficked all over the world... and criminals and
gang members coming through."

On unpaid federal workers: ''They will make an adjustment
because they want to see the border taken care of."

On border problems: "Because of the strength of our
economy, the stronger it is, it's probably the greatest
economy we've ever had, and because of that it's
happening even more so we have to stop it."
Yep...no ones serious about DACA fix being included (at least not yet).

Did the Dream Act pass back in 2010? The answer is NO. Therefore, they did fail miserably!
Senator Dick Durbin has been on this for the last 18 years now. He should have resigned back in 2010 when he couldn't even get the Democratic Caucus in the Senate to stick together to pass the Dream Act, that had been his top priority since 2001. He is ineffective. It is as simple as that. I am sick and tired of him printing our pictures on cardboards and giving speeches about us on the Senate floor.

You're somehow against Durbin, of all people? You prefer saving yourself even if means the chances of legalization drops for 20+million other undocumented people, TPS recipients, and asylum seekers?

We'll just have to agree to disagree on those matters.

Cuz he’s gets leverage back if scotus rules against us. Dems have no choice to give in to his demands when we are expiring one by one.

Don’t signal, come to Democrats with an offer. After what happen last time, signaling don’t mean shit. Trump can change his mind right after.

Have no choice? I don't think they'd give him anything because (1) a lot of the concessions are harmful and (2) 2020 election; they can just use the issue against him.

We'd be asked to take one for the team.

I am with you on this one. Guy needs to stop being a dick and just offer the deal to Dems. He is not doing that yet.

i dont think it will come to that point. Dems and some Republicans wont feed us to the wolves.

the dems we’re ready to give $25 billion for us till the court injunction happened.

Trump doesnt care about us, at the end of all this, he’s an opportunist. u cant blame Dems for not trying to come to the table anymore, Trump always fucked it up everytime. U cant negotiate with the guy. the
