Arizona elected a democratic senator.
Iowa elected a 3D-1R house delegation (+2D gain).
Colorado re-elected a democratic senator.
Florida restored voting rights to former felons (itself it narrowly elected republican senator and governor).
Georgia nearly elected a democratic governor despite all the voter suppression going on.
Texas senate race came way too close for comfort for republicans.

It's hard to exactly gauge North Carolina because it had no state-wide races in 2018 and their house is gerrymandered up the ass that election net 0 change (aside NC-09 which is disputed).

Trump doesn't exactly have much support he can afford to lose after squeaking in a win in 2016 and if the trend holds he is going to get pretty BTFO.
North Carolina’s current gov is a dem

He was elected in 2016 at the same time when the state voted in Trump and re-elected Richard Burr (R) for senate. Considering the blue-shift of the nation and the lack of state-wide offices in NC in 2018 I can't really make any guesses about NC.

If something permanent comes out of this (Not Bridge Act) I am campaigning for Trump for his reelection bid.

I'm liking the odds. Been scanning uber-right wing outlets and they've been mum on Amnesty or the "danger of Amnesty". Fox unusually moderate on dreamers, Ann and Lou getting shit on by MAGA cultists for not backing Trump on compromise. They want the appearance of a win on this and China, so they'll polish that turd real good and serve it to their base as succulent foie gras

The wild cards:
Dems. are actually serious about not compromising on the wall and not just bluffing.
Trump doing the shut down to slow down Mueller
Trump actually creating chaos on order from the Kremlin.

And I'll do everything to prevent his reelection, so we'll just cancel each other out!
