Obama and his administration were what party is again? and what district and states do Tester and Manchin represent? y u think they still in the senate, cuz they would tend to vote on conservative policies to stay in office in their districts.

maybe u should be specific in placing blame on some Congressional Democrats.

Come on man, Obama didn't come up with the idea of DACA. Here is the history of DACA.

Democrats in the House and Senate come up with the idea of DACA after they see Dream Act going nowhere in Congress. They presented it to Obama, and guess what, Obama initially thought he can't do DACA with executive power. He wanted to do it, but doubted the legality of the program and the backlash he would get. The group of Democrats didn't give up and they even wrote an open letter to pressure Obama to do it. It's not even that long ago and a lot of the dreamers already forgot about how DACA started.

We get to have DACA because of Democrats in the House and Senate, not Obama alone and definitely not GOP

Also, how many Republicans in the Senate voted no in 2010?

Its actually a privilege bro. Under the US Constitution we still need Congress to pass a law to fix our status.

If it was a "right ", the courts would have said so already.

Come on guys, if we really wanna be US citizens we gotta accept the Constitution

At the end, Obama was the one that gave us DACA. The representatives and the senators had their chance(s); and they failed. If the Democratic senators are going to break with the party on issues that are so essential to the core of the party, then they should run as Republicans.

Obama is gone now.

Who saved DACA from being axed by the Dept. of Justice, Trump Administration and Jeff Sessions?

We were supposed to be done in 2017-2018. It is now in 2019 and we’re still here as DACA recipients, thanks to the 9th Circuit Court.

Fancy cars. Lakefront properties. Those are privileges.

The Dream Act and Dreamers in general have never been about privileges.

Greencards are the bridges to US Citizenship because you NEED a greencard if you have any plans of living in this country indefinitely.

That's what Dreamers have been asking for many years.

The chance to apply for a greencard and be granted permanent residency.

Any sort of scheme of permanently dealing with Dreamers will involve greencards.

Otherwise, we'll be nothing more than second class citizens.

This super entitled attitude is why we don't have anything. This is not our nation, they don't have to give us anything. They could've very easily passed laws to hunt us down like wild animals and eliminate us from the planet. Other nations do it, and get away with it. Being allowed to flaunt the immigration laws of the nation is an incredible privilege in and of itself. It is already a privilege that you can sit in DACA-status and DEMAND a greencard be served up to you on a silver platter. If you want to DEMAND a greencard, then you'd better have something they want, either family ties to this nation, job offer, advanced skills, or 500k USD. Anything else is peanuts.

This nation is not obligated to accept us, give us anything, or even do anything in our favor. The nation that is obligated, is known as your birth country, the one you ran away from.

Let me put it this way, it would certainly be a nice gesture from this nation to grant us the privilege of staying permanently and merging into the American Populace. I would certainly prefer to stay in the nation I know.
