I do not see this shit show of a government shut down ending nicely. I have a feeling that something very dramatic is going to happen.

Breaking: Trump bows to Pelosi and agrees not to do the SotU speech until the shutdown is over.

Well that's kind of expected. He can't get inside the Chamber without approval from the House.

The bottom line: We can end this shutdown today by doing things both sides claim they want—DACA, border security, humanitarian solutions, and TPS.

Anyone who claims to support these things but rejects the plan to reopen the Government has a lot of explaining to do to Americans.

The President's compromise includes ideas from both Democrats and Republicans. Speaker Pelosi rejected it before it was even presented.
