Expect to end up without status or fucked up compromise bills full of poison clauses if Trump is re-elected. At this point, he stands a good chance of winning. The unemployment rate is down, and he just got money for his fucking wall after a good fought battle. The motherfucker shut the government down for about a month and got what he fucking wanted. This is just incredible.

Now, Trump is will corner Democrats into giving him everything he wants, or we will just end up without status while Trump can keep continue diverting funds for his wall. This is only temporary, but SCOTUS hints at ruling in favor of Trump here.

This is so infuriating yet hilarious at the same time. The clean dream act movement proved to be a complete, total failure. We did not get shit, and now trump has received around $6 billion to reinforce the current fence and now money for the wall.

I am not a Trump supporter, but this is why I kept pushing for a fair compromise in later 2017/early 2018. Raids were still going to happen, and Trump was still going to get money for his wall.

I am just venting here, Swim. I know you are not with the clean dream act movement.
I agree, but I don't blame the failure of a compromise completely on the Clean Dream Act movement. The far right side has also killed any hope of compromise with the four pillars. There was a time with Schumer offered Trump full wall money in exchange for DREAM Act. Trump agreed and then after speaking to his anti-immigrant bosses he changed his mind. If I recall correctly it was after that the Clean Dream Act movement gained traction. I also agree that the movement was a complete failure.

Remember how Durbin and Graham's bill gave 2.5bln for full DA and then some?

Trump gets 7bln for nothing!

Trump just keeps on winning. The current odds of him winning the re-election is larger than his odd in 2016. Be ready for 4 more years of Trump.

Especially with the threat of election interference and 'Moscow Mitch' not willing to bring up any election security bills up for a vote. America's voting system is vulnerable. Mueller sounded the alarm during his testimony and its not the first time the threat has been brought up.

Bullshit.

We have 10.5 million lives on the line and we need a solution NOW.
We need the Dream Act for those who arrived as children, status for those who did not, and updated Immigration and Nationality Act regulations for the 21st century.

We are here because the Democratic establishment - Schumer, Pelosi, et al, attacked and sabotaged the winning candidate who was Bernie Sanders, not H Clinton.

Look at how Pelosi went after dissenting Progressive voices in public. There is a lot of movement on the ground that is not in the news about the election and strategizing a win. Most of the country is appalled at the current immigration system.
