No, they've definitely got a lot of balls. What happens is sometimes they may seem to continue dragging the issue in order to maintain immigrant support and rally hispanic voters...but I sincerely think they can't drag it any further and seeing that we just came out of an election I think it can be done...but it has to be done this year, in coming months...the more it prolongs the more risk of further kicking the can down further.

In the same interview she mentioned a something about a pathway for 11 million undocumented people. If it is DACA+TPS+Others, it is DEAD ON ARRIVAL.

I agree with the comment above. They need to treat it one at a time. DACA, TPS and others should be 3 bills.

Covid will wane, economy will roar back up, Trumpism is suicided.

Yep. 2021 or bust.

Glad that Kamala is a true champ of dreamers

A bill to legalize Dreamers and some sort of Border Security would be ideal to kick off proceedings.

Yep.

Issue of 11 million will require more concessions eg e-verify

I disagree. Gop tried piecemeal approach, and it didn't get anywhere either because a lot of stakeholders were just pissed.

The way forward is immigration reform through Gang of 8 part 2.

The Gang of 8 got an immigration bill through the Senate.

Agreed. Lets no bucket others with DACA. We are in a unique situation.

I wouldn't be against the Gang of 8 bill but they need to make sure its not too one sided. It's got to be in the middle in order to garner support (UWD is against that. UWD wants "immediate citizenship" and nothing else in the bill). If that seems to be too tough to achieve, they can go with the piecemeal approach but SOMETHING needs to pass.
