DACA to be extended to 4 years through executive action - Page 4

Lets put it this way, there's a preference list:
1. Green card
2. DACA for more years
3. DACA for 2 years
4. DACA for 1 year
5. Nothing


Option 1 is obviously ideal, but option 5 is a fucking disaster and you know it. If you retards were to have your way and there would be a bunch of people losing their employment authorization you wouldn't just get a quick fix from congress, instead you'd have assholes like Cotton laughing all the way to their weekly KKK rally.

Biden is doing a good thing. That's no excuse for GOP to reject any permanent deal--really.

I'm with you on this one. Biden will make the push early and fulfill campaign promises on executive orders. He is doing what he needs to do. If the GOP refuses to compromise and don't at the very least counter offer with piecemeal deals, the fault is on them.

This is great. But this should NOT stop the momentum of wider legislation passing! Congress can't sit down and breathe a sigh of relief that they have "4 more years" to do something. We should keep pressing forward. In this type of scenario, I actually think groups like UWD may be slightly beneficial to keep the pressure up and force compromise to start but when negotiation time comes about what to include in the bill, they should be thrown out of the bus. Use and dump UWD!
