Trump essentially used very similar words, and that only made people come. Her rhetoric won’t help either.
Except Trump used words AND took actions that affected immigration negatively. Giving power to Miller, having Sessions end DACA, etc. etc. etc. It's not the words, it's the actions, Smoothie.

You're so creative coming up with that. Teach me your ways. I'm so jealous of you. You have a lot of traits I wish I could have.

Together, sure.
Words alone... not really. Words are hot gas. Ask Durbin how much progress has been made after... what... 20 years' worth of him giving speeches about Dreamers and providing Dreamer bios using enlarged portraits of said Dreamers. LOL, his words and speeches matter alright! Can't wait for the next round! He's changing lives with those speeches!

Hey, maybe he can put your photo up there next!

The US is not in a good position right now and adding more border crossings will not help. I don't see anything wrong with what she said.

Biden's admin should have been sending this messaging earlier before lifting the borders covid restriction. The border situation should have been foreseen from the get go and a better method should have put in place from the start.

All momentum for an immigration deal is dead and Dems will most likely lose the house.
