We want to keep it on the downlow, but just watch certain groups protest it because it doesn't have greencards for everybody.

Who are you to talk about other peoples situation without any knowledge or facts. Sounds like an entitle little prick. I truly hope you loose your DACA "2nd class trash"

The bill on the senate, would bring relief to many that have contributed to the US a lot more than many on this board. Any dreamer talking trash about it, should go cry to mamma and fuck off.
Ditto*

He's acting like his imaginary vote to put congress members in office entitles him to instant citizenship. I find it impossible to have a logical conversation with someone who publicly threw his own parents under a bus then put said bus in reverse and backed up over them.

This kid sounds like he would have preferred if his mother had shoved him back up into her uterus. No parent in their right mind is going to illegally bring their children to a foreign country to make their lives worse. Some of these whiners depending on where they came from probably wouldn't even be alive today if they had to grow up in their countries of birth because many parents fled based on extreme violence as well as economic reasons.

The last time there was an amnesty was in the 80's and I'm sure many parents came here after that passed with their kids hoping that maybe in 10 years max there would be something similar. I'm frustrated as hell that we still struggling but people lashing out at the only people who are trying to give us something rather than nothing is counterproductive but thats just my 2 cents.

Prior to DACA most had no legal jobs, no health insurance no DL etc but still complaining that they didn't get anything.
Yeah the dems can be feckless AF but they tend to bleed support once the GOP weaponizes the immigration shit so I get it. I also hate to be the bearer of bad news to this kid but there are a lot of cubans and hispanics who are dead against immigration reform, the crabs in a barrel kind who dems lose support with this faction whenever immigration reform is mentioned. I'm not trying to make excuses for them but to not acknowlege that they are walking a tight rope would be disingenuous.

I'll take whatever the hell I can get at this point since I can't recall any group of immigrants that was granted relief and was then kicked out.

We all have our own opinions. My parents made a decision. I do resent them to some extent for the negative consequences that their choices had on me. You don't have to agree with me, but my opinion is not any less valid than any of yours. I don't subscribe to the parents can't do no wrong bullshit, and so we must all be eternally grateful. Just because you have a good intension, it doesn't mean that you are blameless for the consequences that your choices have on other people. To whoever said something about self deporting at 18. Yeah... how with what money and to where? It's an impossible choice. It's not like we had anywhere to go or even documents to show where we came from. Hate all you want. Doesn't change anything.

Your life would be better if you stopped playing the victim. Be thankful you're even in the US. If they left your ass in their homeland country, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't even have half the opportunities now.

That I disagree with, and that’s the problem. I would have taken the chance to do it on my own. I sincerely believe I would have made better choices than my parents. Stop telling me to be grateful. Nobody ever gave me anything for free.

Just checking in to see...Has Nancy Pelosi declared "a great victory" due to this yet? She usually does that when she knows it ain't going anywhere in the Senate....
