LOL, introducing the bill IS NOT the big deal. Do you know how many bills are introduced in congress every session? This is nothing to get excited about imo. Over 300 bills have been introduced so far.

Well, since this thread doesn't have much concrete information the Dream act has been known to be introduced within the first 11 months of the 1st session of Congress & the bills introduced in the Senate of the 107th,108th,109th,110th should showcase this.Obviously, the earlier it is introduced the more time there is to get more co-sponsors & if we can get at least 5 Republican co-sponsors I believe it could be a lot easier should an actual floor vote took place.

Lilbawler2001 is also right,We're going to have to do a LOT to get this bill on not only the Senate floor, but the House floor as well.Any passage in the Senate is only half the battle.

Well introduction of DREAM will sure as hell put us at an advantage wouldn't it? I know getting votes is more important, but introduction is also a big step towards it.

^It all depends on when they decide to put it on the Senate Agenda Calender. An Introduction of a bill doesn't guarantee a floor vote.
