What angers me is the contradictory statements you get when calling customer service. Last week once they told me I'd get it by the end if the week. Called again and told me my application is one month behind in the process line.
No, I have not tried contacting the ombudsman office. This is the first time I am hearing about this option. Please keep us informed how everything turns out through your request made via the ombudsman office. Thank you for informing me about the ombudsman office

I received a reply from the ombudsman office yesterday 2/5/15.

"Dear Sir/Madam,

The Ombudsman's Office has reviewed your submission and contacted U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) regarding your case.

Please be advised that in certain cases, it may take up to 60 days to receive a response to our inquiry. We will notify you when we receive information from USCIS."

Yesterday called USCIS customer service, they told me TSC is backlogged. Kindly asked the service representative if she had an idea why last week I was lied to (was told I was receiving my renewal by the end of the January). She tried to come up with a logical explanation but couldn't. I just mentioned her that that representative lied to me and then I lied to someone else with the same information.

I called today as well. I told him I'm at the 140 days waiting. He said I might get it soon that tsc is behind. I don't mind waiting but really 140 days come on. My first time took 90 days. I need to get back to work but they don't care. The representative said there was not much for me to do but wait.
