T2 call: On 9/11/2016, my card was sent to production, but it failed to produce. "Failed to produce" can mean a number of things: the photo was not centered, there may be typos on the information, etc. When that happens, the officer is supposed to recreate the card without sending it to the back of the line. The question is why hasn't a new card been produced during the past two weeks? So the T2 created a new SR for me, because he thought that USCIS didn't really address the issue when it responded to my initial SR on 9/22/2016. BUT the SR he submitted specifically requested that they respond to me by mail. This way, the T2 hopes that USCIS will have to type up a specific answer and avoid another generic response. The letter should come within 1-1.5 weeks.

I have no faith that this letter will produce any useful information, so I'm leaning toward sending them a second set of passport pictures. I've already lost two weeks of being able to work and get paid legally. Nobody gives two shits, and I can't hold anybody accountable for lost wages.

P.S. I shot off more emails to NILC and ILRC. The latter said this:

He then checked on his database to make sure if my card was mailed out or now and could not find anything. Then he tried to submit a service request for me for both "card not received" and "case outside of normal processing time". Since he check marked the sr for "case outside of normal processing time" and i had a previous sr that was responded to last friday, the system didnt let him submit any a sr anymore until 30 days passes. So i asked him if there is any issue regarding photos, biometrics or anything; and he said that is a good question to ask and no there isn't any issue with the photos and if there was it would have been in the service request response that i got last friday. Idk if hes just bullshitting or uscis is making us go around a carousel! The tier 2 rep in the end told me that i have to wait 30 days -______-
in summary, there seems to be some delay in a bunch of eads due to some printer failure

so after i got off the phone tried to see if i can submit just a sr for "card not received" and it worked. Lets see if this brings it up to their attention and if this leads to something.

I think this is the smarter thing to do. I want to call NILC and a T2 tomorrow and submit another SR before I send my passport pics. I will still get a set taken, though. Maybe a set of 4 in case I gotta resend.

UPDATE:
I submitted an Ombudsman request and sent an email to [email protected]. I feel like I have to go through all the steps I did for the DACA just to get my EAD to me.
