Here's what makes me nervous:
When I first turned in my application, the person who processed it walked away to talk to someone else in the office then came back. I don't know if that had to do with the EAD date or what, but I'm kind of worried that my card wouldn't be valid for 5 years.
I got my SSN Halloween morning and i was exited! So I showered and got ready to head to DMV (made an appointment first duh! as soon as I got the SSN in the mail) Had my buddy picked me up, did the application for both an ID and DL.

The guy at the window I was at was super nice and cool, the whole staff was wearing Halloween costumes! lol! I took the eye exam, fingerprint, Picture and then the test, I only missed 2 as well!

I was in and out of there in about 40 minutes? Best Halloween ever!

FAILED first driving test.
Totally forgot to drive 25 MPH when children are present. My defense: these are high school kids on a busy main street, they're hardly children anymore -__-"

The lady yelled at my face in my car and then again when we got back to the DMV. I have another appointment on Tuesday morning. I hope I get her again. If you go to DMV Simi Valley, it's the woman with lip liner thicker than her lipstick. Pray that you don't get her.

My examiner didn't say a word except turn here or there. He seemed like he was having a bad day but I only had two mistakes.

I read my evaluation paper, but I can't figure out if I made other mistakes elsewhere. There are numbers being circled, etc., but I don't know what they mean.

You just make the appointment that is earliest and most convenient for you. You pick the date and time, and the computer will tell you the earliest availability.

Got mine today, took just one week for it to arrive in the mail. Expires 2017, hooray for California! Best 35 bucks I've ever spent. Another DACA applicant went with me on the same day, she got her California ID valid until 2018.

Cliff notes as reference:

Showed my WA license and EAD and that was it. 36 questions written test on the same day, first timers can only miss 3, previously licensed can miss upto 6, I missed 4 being half the stuff is all bullshit questions lol. Studied the 5 sample questions online on CA DMV site the day before. They also give you the finished test to take home with you after you're done.
