So what if this is a political ploy from Democrats? I don't get it; why do Republicans have to be such douche bags?

So what if it is a political stunt?! It fixes a real problem so why not pass it?!!!

There are thousands of students depending on the DREAM Act, but there are millions of people hoping for CIR. If there is any hope for CIR, then dreamers should support it. These people that do not qualify for the DREAM Act also deserve an opportunity. I need the DREAM Act to pass, but I know people that need CIR.

We all here support cir here. However lets be serious here, Dream act might pass and there is no chance in hell that cir will. Introducing cir will only hurt our chances as some idiot politicians will want DA to be part of CIR and CIR will wake up all the fucking hillbillies in the nation.

LOL... this bill honestly made me laugh... We ALL know this shit is not going to pass. You think they're really going to give amnesty to 15+ million illegals? When they won't pass a bill for earned green cards to a couple hundred thousand students? Yeah right...

Dream act has to be voted on as a stand alone... CIR will fail.. Well at least this version.

As much as we want dream act to pass, we also want CIR to be passed too. There is lot of families who have been here for more then 15 years and are not legalized. They need to come out of shadows and we are talking about 12 million people here who are suffering.... There should be some kind of comprehensive bill so it can take care of everyone and fix the future immigration problems.. I saw cspan and the subcommittee were discussing the immigration with bloomberg and FOX owner Murdoch. Let's hope for the best and these republicans get into their senses. Like I mentioned in earlier again immigration issue is biting Meg Whitman just like Romney time. So they need to take care of it if they want power again.

I do believe everyone needs a fair chance for a better immigration policy, but it sickens me that the democrats pulled this off this late knowing that the republicans will get more furious on pulling the whole luring the hispanic votes card. I hope they try to do it in pieces though. Dont lose hope Dreamers just keep praying and do what you can to pull in support. whether you get it or not. GOD Bless
