Thanks , but if we were all like that it would still exist because rape/incest/lust/prostitution (human trafficking?) would still occur. Unless we lived in a peaceful world like Romney kept mentioning then yea maybe.

This is not the first time that republicans or conservatives are saying deplorable things regarding women's rights or rape. The scary thing here is the women who will still vote for these men based on mostly religious beliefs and race. I think the problem is that women and people as a whole are only looking at their immediate situation when making political decisions. They are not thinking about the women and young girls who are facing these choices. Even if you're short sighted enough to believe that abortions are the product of loose women with loose morals what about the children who get pregnant due to incest the women who are attacked and raped or the women who were failed by contraceptives? I bet if the daughters and wives of these politicians were raped or got pregnant by a brown man they would be ordering an abortion stat.

Lets also not forget that if abortions are made illegal they would still happen. That is why they were made legal to begin with , because of the lengths women and men went to ensure that pregnancies were aborted one way or the other.

Women need to wake up and see what is going on around them how we are still not getting paid as much as our counterparts and how our rights are in jeopardy. Using the excuse of "we're not like those women", or worse yet not even know whats going on is a dangerous cop out.
