My immunization records are dated January of 2001 as well. We took care of that part right before i enrolled.

My birthday is in June and i arrived shortly before that in 2000 (which would have been my 16th), but then i was forced to spend an entire semester doing a whole lot of nothing 'cause my parents were going through a brutal divorce and custody battle. I don't know if it's the same for all states, but in the state where i was trying to go to school they were asking my legal guardians (brother and now ex-wife) for a power of attorney letter to be able to enroll me in school. By the time the divorce was final and the power of attorney letter was issued, it was already January 2001.

It's confirmed. CNN is reporting administration officials have said DACA parents not to be included. VERY happy for those who will be included. For those with no US citizen children and have been living here for ages like DACA parents, this is Beyond heart breaking and effectively the final nail in the coffin. There will not be another immigration action for the next few years. Again, heart crushing day coming tomorrow for many. I really regret today not finding genuine love by now who is a US citizen or legal resident. My parents would have gotten work permits if I had stepped up to the plate. All over.

I found USC love but we are barely pregos. I think I might at least qualify through the expanded DACA. I feel the pain of the people that won't qualify... I remember how heart crushing it was being left out of DACA.

I came to U.S. when I was 18, and went to high school as junior grade. so I agree with you. I'm feeling really deseased. I personally believe that if anyone can't buy neither liquid nor cigarette, they are not an adult. Did I have a dream at that moment? Oh Hell, I had a dream for sure! Will dream be evaporated away in the air once it reaches age 16+? lol

I have very low expectations, that way if i'm not included, then i won't be crushed.

Man, i missed that DACA arrival age requirement by 7 months and felt awful. I can only imagine how you felt when you realized you missed the age cap by FIVE FUCKING DAYS.

That's just flat out brutal, dude. See, you have a kid on the way and a wife. I'm by myself. No kids, and my parents don't need relief 'cause they aren't even living here in the country anyways. You deserve relief way more than i do.

"Obama will follow the announcement with a speech detailing his plan Friday in Las Vegas"
He promised Dream Act last year in that same school. 5 million benefited is a low number but a major step.

Keep hope alive. The movement will continue and hopefully you will be able to adjust when you marry some day.
