The thing is this is like being in a relationship to some of us. We pay attention to every single detail, hint, mood, tone of voice, eyes, demeanor, hair, hands, timing, etc. When should I call her? Or should I txt her better? Is she thinking about me? What is she doing? Is she missing me? I know I miss her. I feel complete when I'm with her. What words should I use to tell her what I feel? and then you star rehearsing, mulling, dreaming and fantasizing how life is perfect with her.

By now you should get the point of what it means to some of us every time DACA gets talked about by politicians. Regardless I pray you're spot on.

Pretty much. Best advice ever. Canada is my only option. I have a euro passport due to my mother being Spanish. But Europe is ruined. The UK is fucked with Brexit. The wages are getting shittier there and scarce. Germany sucks. I hated it when I visited as a child.

I can indeed comfirm Western Europe is beyond repair. Anyone foolish enough to stay likes being under constant terror threat.

Eastern Europe is still a beacon of hope.

Guys I need some advice.

I was going to apply for DACA for the first time this Wednesday, July 5th with an immigration lawyer. However, this news broke out and now I don't know what to do.

My heart is telling me to still apply, with the hopes that with the info of those that applied, some law will pass through Congress that allows those to remain in the US. I feel that it's now or never - and I want to apply NOW.

I am 19 years old and just received my associates degree in engineering with honors, and no criminal record. I feel that I should take the risk since I hope that I won't be a priority for deportation, but with this administration you never know.

What should I do?

It sounds odd and dangerous but I would rather have USCIS at least receive my application have it in their DACA application pool then to not do anything at all.

What's your advice?

This decision to apply or not to apply is ultimately yours, in light of the news. I will say this about my own story, I first applied for DACA January,2016. I applied after four years of living in fear of what ifs, and not knowing the outcome of the election. But at that point I had decided I don't want to live in fear forever, and what if this was my last chance to do something about my status. I went with a Nelson Mandela quote that said "let your decision reflect your hope and not your fears" so I tried to use that as my motivation. If DACA is rescinded I would still be left without permanent status, but at this point I feel like I must keep going forward and pursue whatever options I have into finally achieving that dream where worrying about my immigration status is a thing of the past. Pray and make the decision that's best for a hopeful future.

I agree, I think more people applied for DACA, bigger influence it will has ( bigger possibility will be an amnesty for DACA )

You're definitely right. I'm going to apply and hope for the best. Wish me luck guys, and hopefully I won't be deported or run into trouble.

You are doing the right thing by applying. DACA is meant to be a reprieve and as a pathway to stabilize your career, irregardless of what may happen.

On the issue of Sessions, we all know his position, but we don't really know the President's in truth. Perhaps a letter writing campaign to the President is in order to not only thank him for continuing DACA, but why it should be coming continued. There are certainly plenty of stories here.
