By this I am no way dismissing all the efforts done to help our cause done by people of different nationalities because they have show support for us but if its a Mexican super dark brown personshowing face of us, then whats wrong about that?
Mexicans are doing the majority of advocacy work on behalf of immigration reform and the sacrifice and struggle, any progress made has to be given credit where credit is due. Part of it is breaking down stereotypes and xenophobia, so you bet Mexicans fighting prejudice should show Mexicans faces; of all colors.

Would you tell Muslims to fight he Muslim ban prejudice by showing non-Muslims? No.

Mexicans are doing most of the work because they are the majority of this group we belong to. I don't blame them. I wouldn't even say Mexican people I would say indigineous Mexican people are the ones fighting for this.

Want to ask someone about prejudice, xenophobia, or racism, go ask a brown Mexican. The first person you should ask is a black person, but next is a brown Mexican.

They are tough as fuk to do all the shit work and still get shitted on.

I'm Mexican/Spaniard/Italian/Greek, but don't look 'typically' Mexican, nor do I get treated as such in the prejudicial sense. The deportation dragnet is built to destroy people's livelihoods and families regardless of background.

I'm very proud of our family, social justice values and work ethic. There's an obsession in some in Congress with perpetuating an adversarial relationship with Mexico and Mexicans. The countries are inextricably linked, are neighbors, and if they had common sense, they would work a bilateral immigration agreement with strict citizenship requirements for those likely to qualify who want to become citizens and work authorization with travel ability for those who don't.

Talk about ungrateful.
