Exactly. I believe DACA is separate from all this illegal immigration talk. He himself has said it’s up to congress to do something or he will address it. Let’s not forget.

Isn't his signature always needed ?? Like if congress passes some shit with supreme majority it automagically becomes law without POTUS signature.

That's how they were able to pass the Russian sanctions so for sure anything is possible.

There's two ways:

1. 10 days (excluding Sundays) pass from the bill being presented to the President. One exception to this is the pocket veto, basically the 10th day is when congress is not in session, however since congress holds pro-forma sessions pocket veto is limited solely to bills passed at tail end of the lame duck period.

2. Veto override (2/3rds of both houses), not a huge hurdle if Ryan and Turtle decide to throw Donald under the bus. Votes are definitely there especially in middle of a government shutdown, that is - if democrats get what they want.

He still could've vetoed it but that bill would definitely see an override. It passed with like 97 ayes in the senate.

He’ll sign anything that hits his desk. There will be compromise and I think dems are smart enough to know that they have to compromise and make him content, even if it’s tbrowing some money at border protection. I may be jaded but I think trump wants Relief for DACA receipents. He’s said it and approached the DACA topic positively. He wants to appease his base but also he liked. If DACA relief passes, he’ll get a nod from all the people that are against him, even if it’s for a moment. Also, I believe he wants to be the president that gets something- anything- done. He undid DACA and will take all the credit for providing relief.
