it's no coincidence the majority of all the successful mexicans you see are the ones that didn't grow up in urban ass areas like south chicago, detroit, parts of east L.A, etc...
we're better off without all that useless ghetto culture shit. it's a literal fucking plague on the youth.
hell even compton's an actual livable place now that it's majority mexicans.
I grew up in a city of the Silicon Valley that is considered one of the nicer ones. You wouldn't expect it to have a bad area. Since my parents worked fast food restaurant jobs, making just enough, they could only afford an apartment in the hood. Growing up I saw gang brawls, dudes porch sitting drinking 40s - smoking weed, cops rolling through. They tended to leave me and my non affiliated friends alone, but man that made an impression on me.

i agree with that notion that your environment plays a huge role on how you end up. nature plays a role, but nurture is huge. drugs, bad company, etc are likely to cause anyone to go down the wrong path, regardless if it's under the pretense or being organized or not. i will say that the current system engenders this culture/behavior. sometimes i feel like people in power want it to be this way.

This. The last point in particular.

If there are no violence, if everyone is equal, what is the use of law enforcement? What can government do other than building bridges?

It’s the system feeding itself. You cant have a society where peace triumphs. It’s advocated by those in power, because it sounds good and it’s the right thing to say. I’m reality, the system needs chaos. If there’s no crime, there’s no need for police. The absence of police means there’s an absence of a justice system. Let me stray away and expand this on a global level. World peace is not the end game for those in charge. The military industrial complex relies on world conflict to keep itself alive. If there are no wars, then there’s no constant demand for the latest military weaponry. The world functions in a state of anarchy and chaos. Wars are not necessarily needed. The illusion of a threat is all that is needed to keep this system running on all cylinders. I recall Eisenhower warning americans and the world about the military industrial complex in one of his final speeches as president. To this day, that speech has mainted its prevalence. It has tested the time beyond the Cold War. I work close to Lockheed Martin in Mountain View, CA., always something going on there.

Maybe if we'd pump trillions into research in that area instead of bombing people and keeping baby boomers alive maybe some idiot savant would get it done.
