No one here has the right to say no wall or that no deal if older dreamers are not included. We are all looking out for ourselves. Having said that, Dreamers were brought here as kids. Many TPS people like are H1B workers and know a country outside of the US therefore, you can comparing apples and oranges.

And many 'dreamers' were brought here when they were 16. Would you be okay if they capped it to say you had to have come here before you were 7?

I think 16 or 18 age was chosen because anything below is considered minor (involuntary entry), hence Childhood Arrival - that's also distinct from TPS.

Many but not all. I'm a Haitian tps holder bought to this country at 5 years old. Do to getting scammed by an immigration lawyer we overstayed our visas. If me and my family went back to our country we would all be dead. I didn't qualify for DACA when I applied sadly. So someone please explain how I'm different from any of you?. If Dream act does pass and it only covers DACA recipients that's great I'm really happy for you guys. Just annoying seeing people talk negatively about tps holders and vice versa.

LOL I already know what reps are gonna say: Mitch McConnell "We have plenty of time to deal with TPS, the president has given us until September"

Many children also received TPS. Many 16 year old DACA 'kids' remember their home country, so the logic is lost there as well. Both DACA and TPS are in the same legal category. Choosing to ignore them is disingenuous and wrong.

31 percent arrived before the age of 6
2/3 before age of 11.

Quite different in population... cherry picking doesn't help
Majority of Daca applicants were quite young.

After I applied I received a letter saying I didn't qualify because I already had Tps.
