Who on this forum is talking about a Clean DREAM Act?

Democrats need to realize that either they compromise or them too will feel the consequences come 2018. I appreciate what durbin has done. But the democratic party needs to stop treating us like fools. We are no longer going to be the forgotten. There’s a reason why it’s called bipartisanship. Because neither side is going to get everything they want, there has to be some middle ground. Democrats need to get it together and drop their liberal demands.

Anyone that believes in a clean Dream Act might as well self deport or simply don’t apply if anything passes. No we are not selling our parents out. We all knew that these negotiations were not going to be easy. No one gets everything they want during negotiations. Most dreamers have already spoken to their parents and gotten their blessings. Obviously in a perfect world we want them to be legalized as well, but that’s not going to happen right now. Either we compromise or we get deported, is that simple.

Some members here are calling us sell outs for wanting to compromise and going as far as saying that we’re willing to deport our parents to get our green card. That to me is saying they want a Clean DA which is not going to happen.

We're also negotiating with basically no leverage. The only leverage we have is Dems using us in ads to attack the GOP during the midterms, that's it.

They are all playing shenanigans.

Durbin wanted the Dream Act with border security. They attacked it and Schumer and Pelosi fail as leaders.

Now everyone is saying to narrow the negotiations to just Dream Act and the wall.

Well that was the original plan!!!

If you guys think democrats will give everything they are asking for, youre delusionals. They will use probably 10 billions of those 25 to deport innocent hard working people. Most of you dont know what youre talking about when it comes to immigration deals.

Durbin's bill was also a ransom note. It has concessions. Durbin is playing politics.

Well, care to enlighten us with what you DO KNOW about immigration deals? Where you involved in the deal making for the great amnesty of the 80's? Do you have a wealth of experience in immigration deal-making?

Please please please sir, enlighten us with your knowledge and expertise of immigration deals!

I just don’t understand the Democrats obsession of trying to make deals through the media. If that’s their strategy we’re never going to get anything done.
