No, it make their support worthless because the price tag that comes with their support is usually unreasonable. A Republican vote is not worth more than a Democrats. I would argue that it's worth less because it comes with poison pills.

I agree with you that the 5-6 Democrats should be replaced but that doesn't change the fact that Republicans have been our obstacle. I rather have more Democrats elected because they are more likely to vote for legalization than having Republicans who are elected on a platform of anti immigration. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

No they are not more likely to vote for legalization. The only reason legalization will happen is because Trump was elected and it is going to be the Republicans who will broker the deal. Just watch. We are very lucky HILLARY wasn't elected.
