Why?? I hope Dems oppose excluding aged out Dreamers after all USA Act, RAC Act, and the Dream Act include those for obvious reasons.
According to them if they don't include H1B visas then it's a 'special path to citizenship' for illegals - but since it also helps a small subset of 'legal immigrants', they can claim it isn't. That's conservative logic for you.

Excluding aged out Dreamers is the first most illogical line of reasoning in Republicans minds. Those have been in the country the longest. Have held employment for the largest amount of years. Have paid taxes the longest amount of time. Are educated and have American families!

Second most illogical line of reasoning: Asking for agricultural and trade jobs visas to bring workers from outside the country instead of offering them for earning to the undocumented workers already performing those jobs here.

I was just talking about this with the VA team and they all find this ridiculous and stupid.

Which state do u live in?

If CA or FL, call Denham and Curbelo's offices. Ask 'What service does it do to our communities to exclude <fill_in_the _blank>

The fact that they are using it makes sense though. They know it is politically risky to support legalization in any form and thus seek cover so they may support it.

At least front face that is how it looks, but they could also simply be posturing so as not to look negative and unstatesmanlike on the issue.
