I agree. No excuse for Dems to delay vote on immigration.

The way forward is immigration reform through Gang of 8 part 2.

The Gang of 8 got an immigration bill through the Senate.
Good luck passing anything legalizing 11 million people in this economic climate. It is simply NOT practical.

Hopefully the years under DACA count towards citizenship after getting a green card.

How long until such a bill reaches the house and senate floor for a vote.
I've been burned far too often to feel any excitement for such news.

If everything goes as expected we should receive 2022 as GC holders.

Yeah, I also think it will be introduced sometime in 2022. I'm hoping the democrats doesn't shoot themselves in the foot by rushing a bill too soon.

Hopefully they push for this immigration bill as fast as they’re pushing for Trump to get removed from office.

Gang of 8 got it through the Senate. Only reason it didn't pass the house was because of GOP. Piecemeal was absolute failure last 4 years because of all the stakeholders.

The economic argument is always given by the far right. Where do we drawn the line on who can get relief in these times? We don't number in the few hundreds either.

It doesn't hurt to try to go big. Hell propose CIR and a narrow DA-border security bill. Both are bipartisan solutions. I just hope immigration activists just get the point that they cannot have everything their way. Just annoying.
