Why is the House wasting time on this? Any bill passed in the House will have no chance in the Senate.

The debate needs to start in the Senate and once a bill is passed there (which is highly unlikely), it can go to the House to be passed easily.

Because as usual Nancy Pelosi wants to accrue points and "declare victory on immigration." She needs to do this every year...Its a very important issue for her...If the Senate passes it, she won't be able to do that any more....

They need to attach a bill to resolve the border issue to any of the two bills. That is the only way i see this going anywhere.
