Yep. I like the proposal thus far, and what I like about the GOP congresswoman is that she doesn’t limit her relief to dreamers. She does it with balls too.

If it passes I’d move to a Spanish speaking beach paradise for the winter in order to stay nice and warm and to practice my español (started learning during the pandemic). Summers I’d do some exploring in Europe (mostly Central/Eastern Europe - Balkans, caucuses, carpathian mountains, mazurian lakes region, Baltics). I’d also spend some time in UK since I have a bunch of cousins there.

But knowing how this shit usually works out, it will fail with 59 and a half votes. Or you need hazel colored eyes or some stupid shit like that in order to qualify.

Stupid bill, glad the democrats will never accept it. It may be an okay bill for Dreamers but not for everyone else. You can't punish people by making them pay taxes for 15 years, pay fines and contributions to ASB, and NOT be allowed to receive/use any federal assistance. Many moms and dads who are 50s, 60s, and 70s will never be able to retire or be entitled to SSI as they may reach their end of life earlier than meeting the 15 years requirement, which only then they can TRY to apply for a GC.
